South Lakes High School Library: About

Students must have a pass during the school day and after 3:20pm after school.

Checkouts, renewal, & overdue books:

• Books may be checked out for 3 weeks.
• Books may be renewed as many times as needed unless another student has place a hold on the book.
• Books are marked lost 90 days after the due date.  The book cost is added to your account until the book is returned.
• While there is no limit to the number of books you may check out, please be mindful of other students.
  • Check out what you need and can be responsible for taking care of and returning on time 

• Be doing something productive in a manner that allows others to be productive.
• Respect people and their property.
• Passes are required during the school day.
• Sign in and out at the circulation desk.
• Internet use for educational purposes only.
• Please make the library a safe space for people with allergies -- no food or drink past the circulation desk.

When can I come to the library?

• before school
• during Seahawk Seminar (with an e-hallpass)
• during lunch (with an appointment e-hallpass)
• during class (with an e-hallpass)

Do I need a pass?

• Yes, unless it's before school

Do I need to sign in and out?

• Yes, you will sign in and out each time you visit the library.
